Architect
Born in Ishikawa Prefecture in 1982. Graduated from the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Kobe University, and completed his graduate studies in Architecture at the Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology. Joined graf in 2008, where he was primarily responsible for spatial design and product design. After establishing his own office in 2014, he has been involved in projects aimed at the utilization of peripheral urban spaces such as areas under elevated railways, roads, riverbeds, breakwaters, and waterways. In 2023, he founded Marginalio Architects. He is also active as a member of "elements," a design project that explores the various phenomena and elements that exist around people.

Outline
A creative space in Minamimorimachi, just one stop from Osaka Station. Equipped with a distiller, it offers food and drink experiences enhanced by scent, along with activities that engage the senses. Set in a distinctive environment where history and creativity come together, the space helps you express your brand story and vision in vivid and memorable ways.
Social Events
We create social events that immerse guests in the sensibility of a company, product, or project, engaging all five senses. Through a blend of distilled drinks, creative spatial design, and art and sound, each gathering becomes an atmospheric experience where guests can intuitively feel a brand’s philosophy and story.
Original Drink
At FabCafe Osaka, we offer a selection of mocktails crafted with extracts obtained through distillation. We can also develop custom drinks tailored to your event. Each drink is designed to go beyond taste, leaving a lasting impression and sparking curiosity about the place and the people behind it.

Nestled alongside the Kamo River and Kyoto's historic streetscape, FabCafe Kyoto is a space where art, design, research, and conversation converge. Housed in a renovated 125-year-old machiya townhouse, the space features a menu inspired by Kyoto's materials and culture. Here, visitors can think, converse, and make at their own pace. Researchers, students, travelers, and local creatives gather to unwind, discover, and connect. That is FabCafe Kyoto.
Nagoya
A city of "monozukuri" (making things) where tradition and technology fuse to shape new ideas.
FabCafe Nagoya sits minutes from Nagoya Station, where the city's industrial energy meets the quiet precision of craft. The space pairs warm wood interiors with laser cutters and 3D printers, providing digital tools that put idea-making within reach. Here, tradition and technology fuse, shaping Nagoya's "monozukuri" (the making of things) into something new.
Osaka
A place where the urban vitality nurtured by the culture of the Yodo River basin meets the warm, down-to-earth character that is distinctly Osaka.
What we offer is an experience inspired by L'Informe — an artistic philosophy that pursues beauty unbound by form. We rediscover values dormant in the history and culture of the local community, and create new culture around the themes of formless "sensibility" and "emotion." A distiller has been introduced as a tool to embody L'Informe. Through food and drink experiences enhanced by scent and activities that stimulate the senses, we provide a space where visitors can cultivate their sensibilities, awaken their emotions, and discover new possibilities.
Tokyo
Cultural intersection in a world-class dynamic city.
Located in the heart of Shibuya, FabCafe Tokyo is the first base of the global FabCafe network, established in 2012. It is a space that fuses cafe culture with digital fabrication, where you can enjoy coffee while using tools like laser cutters and 3D printers. It also hosts collaborative events, exhibitions, and workshops, and its open, flexible environment invites entrepreneurs, makers, and creatives to use the space not merely as a venue, but as a platform for experimentation and co-creation.

OUR NEIGHBOURHOOD
FabCafe Osaka is located in Tenma, the historic temple district surrounding Osaka Tenmangu Shrine, alive with the energy of Japan’s longest shopping street. The space occupies the bones of a former automobile repair shop, carrying forward the pulse of the engines that once ran here and transforming it into the intellectual curiosity of today’s visitors. Just one stop from Osaka Station, the café combines the convenience of the city with a neighborhood rich in food culture and home to a permanent rakugo storytelling theater — a vibrant local culture all its own. The spirit of pursuing what’s "omoro” (interesting, in the Osaka way) that defines Tenma serves as a catalyst for experimental projects.
